Voldemort’s death Explained…here’s my theory.

what more could an introvert ask for? Limited contact with people. No colleagues to “chat” while working. I honestly thought I was in for a treat. And I also very mistakenly was under the impression that since I will not be going out at all, my anxiety would be so kind to me and take a rest for its daily/hourly/ secondly (I’m not even sure if it is a word, but if you know a better word, please let me know. It would be nice to learn) torture of my mind.

But no, I could not be positively more wrong! Stupid anxiety is having the time of its life!

With no outside interaction whatsoever to distract me, well, it is not a jolly ride. for some reason, the demons of my bipolarity are on rest as of now, I do not know when they decide to swing in either direction.

All that crap aside, I watched 2 Harry Potter movies back to back today. Stopped my work midway to do that, feeling a bit guilty right now. But the instant gratification monkey living in my head was pressurizing me so so much and the panic minster that usually scares the monkey away was off duty. I gave in to the pressure….yeeks.

so that is that.

And I wanted to share my two cents about the duel scene between Harry and Voldy (yea, I call him that.) And just to put it out here, I also had two money plants named after good old Voldy and Bellatrix. I was completely blown away knowing that they had a secret love child.

The entire world of any Potterhead would have been shattered by that revelation, I’m sure.

Okay, back to the topic….sooo the duel between our villain and the chosen one. Now, this might be a bit too late to say this, as many blogs and articles have already been written about it, but this is my blog so I can write whatever I want it in I suppose. Meh.

so here goes nothing.

Now, y’all remember that scene when Ron and Hermione go to the chamber of secrets to get the basilisk fang to destroy the Horcruxes, and then Ron makes Hermione destroy the Hufflepuff’s cup? And our old man Voldy felt that fatal blow and went all banana. Well, at that moment, he takes all his pent up frustration and daddy issues among other things and casts a counterspell which destroyed all the protective enchantments that were cast on Hogwarts.

Right, and so if you’ve watched the movie, and closely observed that particular scene, the elder wand cracks. And that is crucial.

well after that the battle begins and things intensify and we see the deaths of many of our dear characters, I didn’t want Fred to die at all! I sob my eyes out…

well, yea, I didn’t wanna cry over the same person for the second time today. So let’s carry on.

okay

see, I lost the train of my thought! ugh! it’s annoying. I am convinced that if anyone who doesn’t know me in real life ever reads all this, they’re gonna be convinced I am completely mental. but for the record, I am just half mental.

so moving forward- many people die, and then Snape dies, it was a devastating moment, but what makes his last moments a tad comforting is that he got to see Harry’s eyes. As he says “you have your mother’s eyes”. Gosh! that was sad. So yeah, it was sort of a snot crying fest for me. But that is for another blog that I might someday write. hihi

so yeah, then Harry goes to the forest and voldy kills him (or the part of himself that was in Harry, although I am still a bit confused as to why Albus instructed that it should be you know who, who kills Harry? let’s discuss it down in the comments XD)

yea, then Narcissa checks to confirm if Harry is truly dead which she does and bla bla bla, the big speech bla bla and then let’s just move on to that epic scene where voldy passes on. well, before that special mention- the fight between Bella and molly, Boy! that was epic! like a legit epic!

I LOVED THAT SCENE ! “not my daughter you bitch!! wooohooooo!!!! epic ish!

I am going nuts! just thinking out loud.

well, then the final duel…taadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Neville kills Nagini, which in turn weakens Tom further.

The “controversy” surrounding this scene was how on God’s Green earth did Harry manage to kill Voldemort with a disarming charm. well here is my 2 cents (swear no nonsense)

  • The elder wand never belonged to voldy
  • It had a hairline crack in it from the earlier counterspell again those protective enchantments.
  • Death of Nagini was the final blow to his soul or whatever was left of it inside his own body.
  • The same incident was also a huge blow to his hubris and brought down his sky-high confidence to Hades and leveled up Harry’s confidence levels.
  • The next, it made both of them lose focus, but Harry was quick to regain his senses back

So my theory is that due to all the above-mentioned reasons, the disarming curse was much stronger/energetic than the unforgivable curse voldy cast….and the wand never yielded to Tom.

So the unforgivable rebounded thorough the fissure and killed Voldy.

And if we look at it that way, Voldemort’s death was more like a Suicide.

That’s it, I am done spurting nonsense for today and this is the second blog of my quarantine journal series.
